FAQs: Cobweb & Coretek Aquisition

Following acquisition of Coretek Ltd by Cobweb Solutions Ltd earlier this year, we have made the strategic decision to merge the two businesses in order to enhance Coretek’s service capabilities and offer you a greater level of support. From 1 September 2025, Cobweb Solutions Ltd will now be your primary service provider going forward. Please review the FAQs below for more information.

Cobweb Solutions Ltd is a leading UK-based cloud services provider with over 25 years of experience delivering Microsoft cloud solutions, managed IT services, and cyber security. We are excited about the opportunities this merger brings and are confident it will enhance the value and support you receive.

There will be a phased transition period between 1 September 2025 and 30 April 2026. During this time, you may notice some changes, but we will always let you know before any major updates take place.

The Coretek team will remain in the business and continue to work with you. You’ll still benefit from their knowledge, expertise, and support, now backed by the additional resources and capabilities of Cobweb including your own Account Manager. 

All contract and service renewals will now be managed by Cobweb. This ensures a smooth process and continuity of service.

Yes, you may still hear from the same people, but emails, phone calls, and Teams messages will begin coming from Cobweb accounts instead of  Coretek.

Monthly reports will no longer be issued automatically. However, if you need information about any existing services, you can request it at any time by contacting our support team.

Yes. Future invoices will be issued by Cobweb. We’ll contact you in advance before this change takes effect so you are fully informed.

We will be migrating our support tooling into Cobweb’s systems. You may notice a change in the support email format, but rest assured you’ll continue to receive the same excellent service. 

Cobweb needs to be added as a Microsoft partner to your Microsoft 365 tenant so we can continue providing you with effective support. Wherever possible, we will manage this process on your behalf to make it seamless.
