That means your donation will go twice as far to help seriously ill children and their families lead more marvellous lives.
Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity funds specialist nurses who really make a difference for kids with complex medical conditions. These nurses offer families expert care, guidance, and reassurance, helping them through treatment and beyond. They don’t just support families in the hospital – they’re also there at home, making sure both children and parents feel supported and confident in managing their health.
Harriet’s Story and Why This Cause Is Close to Our Hearts
Harriet’s life was changed thanks to Roald Dahl Nurses. Diagnosed with a unique genetic disorder, she had her first seizure at just two and a half years old. It was a terrifying and uncertain time for her parents. Luckily, they were introduced to Becs, a Roald Dahl epilepsy nurse, who offered expert care and constant reassurance. Thanks to Becs and her team, Harriet’s parents now feel empowered to make the right decisions for her care.
This cause means a lot to us here at Cobweb. Our Billing Manager, David, is Harriet’s dad, and the support his family received from Roald Dahl Nurses has made a huge impact on him and his family. We’re proud to support this charity, knowing the difference it makes in families’ lives, including David’s.
