Work smarter, not harder with Office 365
Remote desktops enable you to use your desktop from any location.
Make sure you're making the most of Teams with our top tips!
As a small or medium-sized business, chances are you are already using elements of Microsoft 365. Perhaps you are using Office 365, or your systems are running Windows 10. Maybe you are even using Microsoft's Enterprise Mobility + Security software. With any of these solutions at play in your organisation, you have a powerful and effective piece of software to manage operations. But did you know that you can get all of them together at a reduced cost with the Microsoft 365 bundle? When you are subscribed to Microsoft 365, you get all the solutions and all the latest updates, the most recent of which arrived last month.
Security updates came in force last month, with Shadow IT for Cloud App Security offering the ability to view the apps and services that are running on top of IaaS and PaaS subscriptions. You can also manage the access to company resources more closely, thanks to the addition of Azure AD Conditional Access policies, and get tailored recommendations to improve organisation identity security with Identity Secure Score.
New security features in Microsoft's enterprise mobility solutions are welcome, but improvements to collaborative features and convenient compliance measures are also present. In Teams, you can now create information barriers to avoid conflicts of interest and information leaks. Yammer now has new features to meet data residency requirements, and Office 365 is now bolstered with Multi-Geo Capabilities. Microsoft Whiteboard now allows collaborators to give a 'thumbs up' to their colleagues' content, both in Windows 10 and iOS.
Microsoft 365 is always developing to help SMBs streamline document creation and collaboration to be more efficient. To this end, Designer in PowerPoint now accommodates the ability to create presentations using branded templates, helping businesses create on-brand presentations easily. Furthermore, for users of Outlook, the inking function has been brought in, the same as we've seen in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote. It enables users to make notes and annotations with their finger or digital pen, helping to stay in the creative flow.
The overall process of finding documents has now been simplified across the Microsoft Office desktop apps with Recommended Documents. There is also a Version History feature for Office on the web, enabling users to see a history of changes to a document and revert to older versions where necessary.
As you can see, you get the most out of the enterprise mobility software from Microsoft when you subscribe to the Microsoft 365 bundle. EM + S is important for SMBs in the modern climate, and when you have the full set of tools at your disposal through Microsoft 365, you can integrate a wide range of convenient and powerful features to make the most of your online collaborative workforce. Microsoft works hard to provide for its business clients and has an ongoing commitment to acknowledging feedback and making the tweaks and updates that ensure their software is providing the optimal experience for businesses everywhere. Get on board with Microsoft 365 and see the difference.
