Momentum 2018, DocuSign’s annual customer conference revealed big changes for the world’s Systems of Agreement. These systems outline the various processes and technologies that companies can use to prepare, sign, action and management agreements and e-signatures.
Developing DocuSign e-signature technology even further, these new updates will alter how e-signatures are completed and processed – enhancing and modernising DocuSign’s technology. Here we delved into the latest updates and their relevance to the Systems of Agreement.
Have you been waiting to bring blockchain and your Systems of Agreement together? The wait is over: DocuSign announced a new integration with Ethereum. This means that each time you receive a DocuSign e-signature, Ethereum will automatically recognise this as evidence that an agreement took place. All parties now have a clear, verifiable and neutral infrastructure with which to check a document’s integrity. Keen to find out more about further blockchain developments? Search and insights with AI
Intelligent Insights, power by Seal Software, now integrates with DocuSign’s System of Agreement. This technology moves beyond keywords and, like a real-life analyst, understands the legal concepts that an agreement clause constitutes.
This new integration can also automatically recognise and categorise different agreements and compare how they deal with various relevant issues and topics. This enables you to quickly be able to spot the pros and cons of any given agreement.
Responsive signing and mobile-first
Typically, forms and agreements tend to not be adapted for mobile use. Improving the user experience, DocuSign’s updated System of Agreement now supports mobile-first with responsive signing technology – converting PDF documents into more convenient HTML, and adjusting their font size and format appropriately.
With DocuSign’s new Smart Sections, you will now be able to take responsive signing to new heights, adhering to your organisation’s preferences. This means that you can make an agreement your own and consistent with your company’s branding – as well as being as clear, user-friendly and interactive as possible
Guided forms will now be able to help signers through more complicated and complex agreement processes, rather than depending on the sales team to support. Powered by Intelledox, these guided forms can also help create more personalised agreements and adapt the user experience so that it is in line with your preferences – including locations and devices. If you already manage multiple DocuSign accounts, you will now be able to take advantage of new capabilities and centralised admin tools. This means that admins will now have easier management of all accounts at an organisational level in one user interface.
Data feed API
Using Power BI (Business Intelligence), you’ll be able to analyse your DocuSign data. This will automate DocuSign data and its real-time updates into a much more easily consumable visual BI repository.
