If your business is considering a move to Microsoft Office 365, you might like to look at one of our case studies, to read about the experiences of companies which have migrated. In this blog, we’re summarising the story of the pizza franchise Papa John’s UK operation, and their move from Hosted Exchange to Office 365.

With over 380 franchise take-away stores located across the UK – from Aberdeen to Truro – the US’s pizza business UK operation (headquartered in Milton Keynes) has been a Cobweb customer for over five years. Earlier in 2018, they moved from Cobweb’s Hosted Exchange to Microsoft’s productivity and communication suite, Office 365.

David Gyselynck, Papa John’s IT Director: "We were very satisfied with our experience on the Cobweb Exchange platform.

"Our move to Microsoft Office 365 was prompted by our belief that Office 365 is the way forward for Microsoft products.

"Naturally, we wanted to keep the power, familiarity, and convenience of our email solution and Exchange. But, we also wanted to be able to provide our stores with the additional features offered by Office 365 – the multiple applications of the Office suite, and in particular, Excel and Word."

While Office 365 incorporates industry-leading security capability, Papa John’s has also invested in Mimecast Advanced Security, with its features to enable organisations to protect against advanced email-borne threats, and including those arising from: whaling, malicious URLs and malware attachments, spam and viruses.

In David Gyselynck’s words, Mimecast Advanced Security, "perfectly complements the security features that are part of Office 365. With all the publicity around, no one can be unaware of the dangers of phishing and ransomware threats, and we wanted to ensure that our users receive clean, uninfected emails."

And, finally Papa John’s has chosen to add in Exclaimer Signature Manager Office 365, enabling organisations to design and create legally-compliant email signatures, to "ensure consistent signature branding across the franchises and that would be managed centrally," David Gyselynck.

At Cobweb, we believe that Office 365 is the future for cloud services. We were with Papa John’s every step of the way on their journey to Office 365, able to advise on the products and services to meet their individual requirements.
