Embed 3D Animations in Word and PowerPoint

Make your presentations and documents more memorable by embed 3D animations into Word and PowerPoint. Sounds too complicated? The process is quick and easy. All you need to do is place a 3D model onto the PowerPoint slide or Word document, then choose one of the already-made animations.

Use a digital pen to edit documents

Go back to pen and paper in a whole new way by editing documents using a digital pen. Previous to this update, users would only use a digital pen to cross out words and highlight texts but now users can get rid of the keyboard altogether! Use the digital pen to add words, line breaks or split up text in a seamless and interactive way.

Convert Word documents in to webpages – fast!

‘Transform to Web’ allows you to convert a Word document into a beautiful, interesting and interactive Sway webpages that work on any device. Plus, it’s simple to do – just click ‘File’, then ‘Transform’ then choose from the many templated styles and, voila, your webpage is complete!

You may have heard about this one already but the ‘background blur’ feature is now available when you take part in a video call – an absolute staple of office-life.

When taking part in a conference call and you’re required to use video, you can now hide any distractions or private information within the background using the new ‘background blur’ function in Microsoft Teams. To start using it, when in a video call, select ‘More Options’, then click ‘Blur my Background’.

Ensure app compatibility with App Assure

As your IT team already knows, application compatibility testing is a long and difficult task for those wanting to upgrade to newer versions of Windows and Microsoft Office. After many complains, Microsoft has listened and worked to develop the Desktop App Assure FastTrack Center. Using this tool, you can address issues relating to Windows 10, Office 365 ProPlus, as well as any other feature updates.

And, if you notice any comparability problems, all you need to do is log a ticket via FastTrack and a specialist will follow up the issue at no extra cost!

Updates to SharePoint Migration tool

Do you use SharePoint? There have been some great updates that make the move to 365 even easier! With the new Migration Tool, users will have access to an easy-to-use interface that allows you to migrate existing OneDrive, SharePoint and File Shares to their online correspondent, including Microsoft Teams.
