A push-to-talk experience that enables clear, instant, and secure voice communication over the cloud. It basically transforms employees or company-owned smartphones and tablets into walkie-talkies. And with the functionality, built natively into Teams, the number of devices employees need to carry is reduced as are IT costs. And since Walkie Talkie works over Wi-Fi or cellular data, it can be used across geographic locations.
Tasks targeting, publishing, and reporting
An intuitive Teams push-to-talk experience which connects team members across departments and locations. Targeted task lists can be sent to specific locations and the progress tracked through automatic real-time reports.
Enhanced identity and access management:
With SMS sign-in, frontline staff can sign into their Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) account using one-time SMS codes so they don’t need to remember usernames and passwords for all their Microsoft 365 and custom applications. The new sign-in method can also be enabled for select groups.
Shared device sign-out: Many frontline staff shares a tablet or mobile device which can pose organisational security challenges. With shared device sign-out, frontline staff can log out of all their Microsoft 365 and custom applications and browser sessions with one click at the end of their shift so that their data can’t be accessed by the next device user.
