BDO Award

Cobweb Solutions has been recognised as one of the Central South’s top 20 companies achieving sustained profit growth. The accolade was presented by accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP this week.

BDO's analysis of the mid-market (comprising companies with turnover between £10m-£300m) demonstrated that Cobweb is one of the region’s brightest success stories, reporting impressive profit growth during the last four years.

Malcolm Thixton, Lead Partner at BDO in Southampton commented on the win, "mid-market companies are driving growth in the region and are crucial to our economic recovery. Cobweb Solutions is a great example of a business that, led by a strong management team, continues to embrace market opportunities and take advantage of the economic upswing."

“It’s an exciting era for business,” explained Michael Olpin, Cobweb’s Financial Director. “Our evolving cloud-based services and the greater recognition within industry that there are better ways of doing business have helped propel us to greater performance year on year. It’s a testament to the faith we have built with customers. They understand the power of cloud services to liberate their businesses and it’s a belief that is becoming ever more widely shared."
