I’m looking forward to attending Acronis’ first ever global partner summit, in Miami, Florida, this coming October and I’m delighted to have been invited to speak. I’ll be sharing insights on how Cobweb protects customers with services based around Acronis’ cyber protection platform.

Cobweb partners with Acronis, the award-winning leader in cyber protection, to bring our customers security solutions at the leading edge of innovation, and attending events such as Acronis’ summit ensures we’re at the forefront of understanding latest industry development and evolution.

The summit, titled ‘There’s a Revolution Happening: The Future Demands Cyber Protection’ will offer keynote presentations, workshops, training forums, panel discussions, and focused content sessions, delivered by world-class speakers in cyber protection, and we will be using the knowledge and learnings to drive enhancements to our security services and solutions.

Data is the fuel that powers business today and the loss of that data for a company can be potentially devastating.

Security product magazine, Security Today, reports that the average cost of a data breach globally is over £3 million ($3.86 million), while a recent survey  cites almost half of SMBs (48 percent) saying that a major data breach could potentially close down their business permanently,

And, yet, according to a report by tech publication IT Pro, around four million UK businesses could be at risk of losing their data due to inadequate - or even non-existent - backup practices.

At Cobweb, we see providing security advice, guidance, and services as a crucial part of our role, helping customers stay safe and secure in the cloud.
