Cobweb Managing Director, Michael Frisby, writes …
Inspire is Microsoft’s annual flagship partner event, held this year in Las Vegas, 15-19 July. Microsoft describes the event as "where the world meets to transform business”, and we’re sending a team from Cobweb to make sure that we catch all the announcements and news. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about the forthcoming updates to Microsoft solutions – as well as to meet Microsoft teams and other providers in the IT world.
Inspire is one of my favourite weeks of the year and this will be my 10th Inspire, with my first back in 2002, in Los Angeles, when it was known as WPC, or Worldwide Partner Conference.
Like anything in life, you get out of the event what you put into it, and so for me the week is non-stop, with the days typically starting with a 7am breakfast meeting and finishing late in the evening. I always come away with a bunch of fresh ideas for helping our customers in many ways.
We’ll be catching up with all the latest news about Office 365, Microsoft 365, and Azure – and are particularly excited about the updates for Microsoft Teams.
The week is jam-packed with corenote speeches, and session presentations, and I’m delighted to have been invited to speak at three of these, talking about Microsoft 365 and Teams, and how Teams helps businesses to better engage their employees and provide the best possible experiences for their customers.
We’ll be posting blogs detailing the key news and announcements as they happen – so do keep an eye on Cobweb news.
This year has added excitement as hopefully on Sunday morning at 8:00am Vegas time I’ll be watching England in the World Cup final! #ItsComingHome
