Emma Jobling, Head of the Cobweb Team, says, “Cobweb will be at stand C1450 for both days of Cloud Expo Europe, Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 March - so do come and see us.

“We’ll be talking about how the right software and hardware can enable you and your staff to be ‘always productive and secure – whenever, wherever.

“We’ll be demonstrating Microsoft Teams - the teamworking hub that’s become an integral part of Office 365 - as well as offering teamworking assessments and showcasing hardware that can enhance meetings whether participants are in the office or at home. We’ll even be giving away some devices!

“We’re also offering some Microsoft 365 Business Voice trial coupons, and If you haven’t heard about Business Voice, it’s the complete cloud-based telephony system for the SMB. Integrated into Microsoft Teams, it’s available as a with and as a without calling plan, and at Cobweb we believe that this truly is the phone system for the small-midsize business.”

Cobweb MD, Michael Frisby, will be co-presenting with James Chadwick, Microsoft Cloud Services Partner Lead,  on Wednesday 11 March, 14:00 14:25, in Theatre 17. Their talk, titled, Unlock team potential and create great employee and customer experiences, will look at how organisations can use technology to keep their workforce productive, and the business itself competitive, through helping teams to work better and smarter.

The workplace is going through huge change, with increasingly key to a productive workplace, effective teamwork - figures today give an average of 80% of employee time spent on collaborative activities. And there’s also the growing need to facilitate remote working - with another statistic reporting 52% of the global workforce working from home at least once per week.

“Michael Frisby and James Chadwick will be talking more about these figures during their presentation on 11 March,” continues Emma Jobling. “Snow days, trains strikes - and the dreadful outbreak of coronavirus (COVID 19), with businesses temporarily closing and sending employees home to work and the virus forcing other people to self-isolate - demonstrates how valuable the ability to enable remote working is to the business in today’s competitive world.

“Whether you’re new to cloud, or looking to grow your cloud services, come and see us at stand C1450 . And if you’re not yet registered for Cloud Expo Europe, do sign up now.

“It’s going to be a great couple of days!”
