Archive Rehydration Priority Update – now Generally Available

  • Archive storage is low cost. When access to the data is required it can be rehydrated from Archive into Hot or Cool tiers.  Standard rehydration can take up to 24 hours to complete, if the data is needed urgently rehydration can be requested as High priority.  High priority allows the data to be available within one hour.  Previously it was not possible to change the priority level during the rehydration operation, this is now possible to change the priority if the operation is in a pending state.
