Cobweb is running a project to upsell much of its Hosted Exchange 2013 customer base to Microsoft Office365. For the upsell project to be successful, customers must be migrated from the Cobweb platform to Office365. They must be prepared, their records transferred and any relevant services the customer wishes to purchase provisioned and configured on Office365. There are approximately 120,000 users to upgrade spread across more than 3,500 customers. (Cobweb direct customers and Vuzion Resellers).
To achieve the goal of upgrade, a Migrations Engineer is required to help manage the flow of customers and ensure that all functions within the migrations process are achieved.
The role is responsible for the technical support of the more technical migrations from Exchange 2013. It includes ownership of the technical process both automatic (where possible) and manual, and some responsibility for the scheduling targets (i.e. how many customers per month). The role will require direct customer contact and some Project Management / managing of large customers / resellers in conjunction with the assigned Project Manager.
The role is responsible for the support of customer upgrades to Office 365 through data preparation, coordination, scheduling and reporting.
This is a full time, fixed-term position, flexibility in working hours is required to ensure customer migration requirements can be fulfilled.
